My Story

I started Rhea because I saw something missing in the jewelry market: beautiful, quality pieces that didn't require choosing between affordability and craftsmanship. As a mom chasing around a toddler, I wanted jewelry I could actually wear (pieces I wouldn't lose sleep over if they got yanked during a tantrum or had tangerine slices tossed on them at snack time). Too often, I'd find myself drawn to a design only to discover it gave me a rash due to skin sensitivities, or I'd fall in love with genuine sterling silver that cost more than I wanted to spend on everyday jewelry that I'd actually wear.

Rhea was born from a simple belief—jewelry that sparks joy shouldn't be saved for special occasions or come with a luxury price tag. I wanted to create a collection where every piece is something you'd actually wear, layer, and love, without worrying about quality or breaking the bank. As a one-woman operation, I personally select every design, evaluate every detail, and write every note that arrives with your order. Cloud Heritage

Our Cloud Heritage sub-collection celebrates the living craft traditions of China's ethnic minority communities — Bai tie-dye from Dali's Zhoucheng Village, Miao silver filigree from Guizhou, Tibetan prayer wheel pendants and hand-hammered metalwork, and carved gourd pieces rooted in centuries of Chinese symbolism. Each piece is sourced from artisan communities with ties to recognised Intangible Cultural Heritage traditions. Not every Cloud Heritage piece is silver — some are fabric, some carved wood or gourd, some stone set in Tibetan metalwork. The material is always detailed on each product page, because the story behind each piece is part of what you're wearing.

Our core jewelry collection is crafted in genuine S925 sterling silver — the international standard for quality silver jewelry. Gold and rose gold pieces feature 18K gold plating over that same sterling silver base, ensuring durability and a lasting finish. Every S925 piece is stamped with .925 to verify its authenticity. Select styles in our Cloud Heritage collection use natural materials including fabric and carved gourd — material details are always noted on each product page. This commitment to transparency is my non-negotiable baseline.
